Notebook I made

I'm so excited with how pretty this composition notebook turned out. It's my first and I used my Pink By Design stamps which fit perfectly, some flowers from my stash, a laser cut frame from Michael's, bling and pearl stems from my stash and some Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet distress Ink...

Sneak peek and some information

I recently participated in a tag swap on youtube and the theme was winter wonderland but it was for advanced levels. I decided I wanted to try my hand at fabric and metal...



I will be posting a youtube video later so this is just a sneak.

Based on a book blog hop

Okay so for this hop I wanted to use my favorite books and make a box and album on all four books but I just didn't have all the time today so I was only able to finish this box before I stared cooking.

This is the top of the box and just the beginning...
 
These letters I got from the DCWV embellishment box and even though they were very glittered in red I had to use the silver glitter paint to give it the Cullen sparkle




I love how the box looks like its leather
really I just applied black Gesso and used wild strokes of bright red paint repeatedly but you can still see the grain....so cool

Doesn't this look so cool!!!!
The flowers are flowers that I have from my own stash

I painted the flowers with silver glitter paint
I am not done yet but the inside is going to have both worlds decorated within and the album is going to be loaded with my favorite quotes and photos.

I hope you like it!! I will be posting a youtube video when I am all done with the inside and the album.

Fabulous 50 day 3


Welcome to day 3 of DDscrafts Fabulous 50

On to my project:

I used my sentimentals cartridge for the card. I cut the light blue and the envelope at 4.25 and the second layer of the card was just at 4 so that I can layer it. I have to admit that at first all I knew was that I have only used this cartridge once and I was determined to use it again. I hope you like it!
I used the same cartridge for the layered butterfly and in the upper right corner is a PinkByDesign Happy Birthday stamp
I cut the smaller card at the score marks for the inside of the card. I used the Happy Birthday stamp from PBD as well.

Jan 12-14 DDcrafts Fabulous 50 birthday Hop

Love Bugs Banners for Kids

Welcome to the “Love Bugs Banners for Kids” Hop.
