April Birthday Blog Hop...April 8-10

Hello!!! Welcome to the April Birthday Blog Hop hosted by Gloria over at http://gloriasgoofycraftspot.blogspot.com/ and she is the starting point so if you did not come over from Glorajean then head on over to Gloria to start from the begining.

I was so happy to be a part of this birthday hop for my friend Gloria and I was super excited to make this card for her and since it also happen to be her hubby's birthday I added one for him too!!!

She told me that he liked beer and the color orange so I thought of my Smiley Cards cartridge and my favorite Peachy Keen stamps (Laffy Taffy)

I just love these effects

And on to Gloria's card...

This is my first time using my Mickey cartridge and my new PinkStamper Spanish stamps and I almost forgot to add in my happy birthday newspaper so I had to squeeze it in ...I used Scrappy Mom's stamp on the newspaper and I was so happy that it fit perfectly in there. This is a shaped card and it did give me some troubles but I kept on going and I actually really like how it turned out.

I will be mailing these out to Gloria and her husband with another little something I got for her hopefully on Monday.
