My Creative Time's THROWBACK THURSDAY!!!

Welcome!!! I don't think I can put into words the excitement I felt when I received the message from Emma asking if I wanted to be a guest designer for this Throwback Thursay!! I jumped on the opportunity and knew just what I wanted to use and make.

This Throwback is to make a two page LO with Emma's stamps and a Cricut Lite Cartridge. I have a number of them but don't find myself using them as much as I would like to so this throwback had me even more excited with the REASON for using my cartridge and also for making a LO of my baby which I have been slacking on with all the card making I have been doing.

These are the things I started with...keep in mind I did make a few changes in the end result.

This is the background cardstock that I inked all edges with Chestnut Roan and sprayed the entire sheets with my Tattered Angels glimmermist

I started using this Super Baby embellishment (another Emma stamp) but it ended up not fitting in with my LO but I will be using it soon!

Here are some of the cuts after I glued and sakura'd them (I don't think thats a word but it sounds cute)

I then glued the lace to the cut I got from Lacy Labels

I decided to add my Owl from Sugar and Spice to the circle with pop dots

I used the distress ink to stamp Emma's spanish stamp, it says "buenas noches bebe (Goodnight baby)"

This is a stamp from PKS wide eyed assortment and Emma's All Star Baby and this I cut by hand and then inked

Not sure how to turn the photos here but I hope you can see this is one of the PKS critter faces and I colored the bunny and stitching with my Sakuras

This mushroom and "Love" are from Sugar and Spice and I inked with all three inks

Another photo that got flipped but on here you can see more Peachy Keen critter faces, gel stitching and Emma's 100% Angel stamp from All Star Baby. I also used my copic to color in the nose

You can see the wonderful flowers from Scraps2treasure, and I did spray them with some more tattered Angels glimmermist. I also added a button and more of Emma's stamps.

I tried to keep taking pictures throughout the process of making my LO but with the kids I was not able to sit straight through from start to finish.

Here is the completed Layout:

I have been having a hard time trying to make it right but its not working...anyone know how to help?

The materials that I used:

DCWV paper packs
Tacky Glue pen from Custom crops
PKS-Wide Eyed Assortment and critter faces Assortment
Emma's stamps - All Star Baby
Sugar and Spice and Lacy Labels cartridges
Sakura gel pens
Tattered Angels Glimmermist
Scraps 2 Treasure flowers
ZVA Bling
Color Box Chestnut Roan Chalk ink
Tim Holtz distress inks
My Pink Scotch ATG gun
and lace and ribbon I bought at JoAnn's and buttons from my stash

I am sorry if you have to turn your head a bit to see it but I hope you like it!!!

Now, head over to your crafty spaces and take out your Lite cartridges so you can enter into Emma's Throwback Thursday here

  3. Beautiful layout. I have had the same issue with my pictures and I have found that if I open them up in my Control Panel and then turn them Clockwise and then Counterclockwise and then upload them to my blog that they will upload correctly. It's like Blogger isn't recognizing them properly until they are turned and turned back. If that doesn't make sense you can e-mail me and I will try to explain it in more detail! Hope it helps!
