Notebook I made

I'm so excited with how pretty this composition notebook turned out. It's my first and I used my Pink By Design stamps which fit perfectly, some flowers from my stash, a laser cut frame from Michael's, bling and pearl stems from my stash and some Tim Holtz Victorian Velvet distress Ink...

I recently participated in a tag swap on youtube and the theme was winter wonderland but it was for advanced levels. I decided I wanted to try my hand at fabric and metal...

Okay so for this hop I wanted to use my favorite books and make a box and album on all four books but I just didn't have all the time today so I was only able to finish this box before I stared cooking.

This is the top of the box and just the beginning...

These letters I got from the DCWV embellishment box and even though they were very glittered in red I had to use the silver glitter paint to give it the Cullen sparkle

I love how the box looks like its leather

really I just applied black Gesso and used wild strokes of bright red paint repeatedly but you can still see the grain....so cool

Doesn't this look so cool!!!!

The flowers are flowers that I have from my own stash

I painted the flowers with silver glitter paint

I am not done yet but the inside is going to have both worlds decorated within and the album is going to be loaded with my favorite quotes and photos.

I hope you like it!! I will be posting a youtube video when I am all done with the inside and the album.

On to my project:

I used my sentimentals cartridge for the card. I cut the light blue and the envelope at 4.25 and the second layer of the card was just at 4 so that I can layer it. I have to admit that at first all I knew was that I have only used this cartridge once and I was determined to use it again. I hope you like it!I used the same cartridge for the layered butterfly and in the upper right corner is a PinkByDesign Happy Birthday stampI cut the smaller card at the score marks for the inside of the card. I used the Happy Birthday stamp from PBD as well.

Hey fellow crafters!!!

I am so sorry that I have been MIA however I will be hosting a giveaway for the newest version of MyMemories. Okay, so I have been working and creating and living the life of a mother and I haven't posted in a while so here are a few of the things I have made...

I have about 11 more frames that I worked on and a couple more Layouts but I have not taken the photos of them yet.

Last week I also decided to have a small party for my oldest daughter because her birthday is actually 12-23 but its not the best time for a birthday because people normally have budgets and she only gets one combined gift for birthday and Christmas. I had a friend of mine make the cake and it came out amazing and of course it was of my daughters favorite Justin Bieber. In the photo below she was being super silly! I also made her a Bieber colored name banner that I haven't put up yet but when I do I will take photos.

12 Days of Christmas

Welcome to Day 9!

So for today I am giving you just a peek into what I made today. It took me all day off and on to get this entire album done and I was trying not to over do it but I didn't want it too plain so I had to fight myself MANY times, LOL.

I got this entire idea from Laura at Following the paper trail (another favorite of mine) and I jumped out of bed and got started. I of course had to take a number of long breaks but in the end I love how it turned out. Now, since this has taken me so long and I have work tomorrow and Sunday I will be at a craft fair I won't have time to make another item so for tomorrow I will post more pics because in all there are 10 double sided pages and each page has a full insert because the pages are made of envelopes like Laura showed on her blog

I really don't even want to get started on the supplies because basically I took my stamps and placed them on the chair next to me and went to town...lots of sentiments in this album!

12 days of Christmas - Day 8

12 Days of Christmas -day 7

Welcome to day 7!!!

I was finally feeling better and stood up late making this album. I recorded a video but lost it somehow and I was too tired to try again so I will post a video later today.

I used the same Warm Wishes paper pad and a paper bag idea from Kathy at Paper Phenomenom for something new to me. This is actually my 2nd album and my first from scratch. I'm hoping to sell this one at a craft fair this weekend so I wanted to keep it simple enough.

I hope the pictures give it justice!!

Welcome to day 6 of our 12 days of Christmas and we are now half done.

I am happy to say that I do have my voice back and for the most part I am feeling much better but now my baby girl is having tummy issues...

For this post I used a card that I made a couple weeks ago but never posted. I actually had a lot of fun with this card and I hope you can see the fun texture on the little mouse, he is so soft.

Today I wanted to make a banner and I used a paper stack I got from Michael's and for this banner I cut everything myself from the papers either with my trimmer or my scissors. This banner brought me back to when I started scrapping and I had no tools and had to use my paper for everything I wanted. I think it came out cute.

I actually took these photos from my phone at 3:15 am while everyone else was sleeping so the lighting is not great and neither is the photo quality, for this I am sorry!!!! I happen to be thankful for many things...my family, my friends, my life, the health of my children and family, the love and support I get from my boyfriend. In a perfect world everyone would be totally happy and not really appreciate the time we have or the people we have in our lives. I happen to know life is short and painful and imperfect but it would not be life if it was any other way. I know that this is the season of thanks but to be honest I am thankful everyday because I am truely blessed.

There are times when I don't understand why or why not but I am learning to accept things that cannot be changed. I am the type of person that doesn't like to have things sitting there not making sense but in life I am learning that not everything makes sense. Not everyone understands things the same and people see things differently everyday and moment. I have come to accept it now and I admit because of this I am more thankful and happier than ever before.

I used to look to my crafts as a stress relief and while it does still help on those stressful days I look to my crafts now as a way to show my family and friends how much I love them and how much they all mean to me. There are many things that I would love to do and its true I am my worst enemy most of the time but because I am thankful I am learning not to be so hard on myself. I can't change the world. I can't change the way people think or feel but I can control myself and for that I am totally GRATEFUL!!!

Life is short, appreciate the people you have, the memories you hold dear and the love that you have, had and will have!!!!

Here is a simple card that I made representing the season of thanks!!

This is a picture of my son that I took in the car one day while at a stop light and for some reason I love it!!! He normally never lets me take good photos so I was so happy to have this photo. I have a hard time with making stuff for him because I feel like I can't do him justice but this turned out perfect...I used my Beep Beep cartridge for the tank and the football was a layer on Playtime and I wanted them both because he admires my brother and wants to be a Marine when he grows up and he is totally into Football with my boyfriend now and he doesn't miss a game or an opportunity to talk football.

I wanted to have this hop so that myself and a couple of my friends can share what makes us thankful when it comes to crafts. We all have our reasons for crafting and we all love what we do and we love being inspired by other friends, blogs, videos, and places or things. I have thought and thought and THOUGHT about what I can make that will show what I love about my crafts but the problem is that everything I make has my heart and soul wrapped in it. You can look anywhere on my blog, my facebook or my youtube and see my heart in everything.

I am thankful to be able to make the things I make, to have the things that I have and to be able to share and express. I know that life is not perfect and there are many things that can happen so being able to capture moments of my family and scrapbook them so that my kids can always take a part of me with them is icing on the cake!!!

When I create something it is a one-of-a-kind and while there are times that a sketch or something inspires me I always make everything my own. It makes me happy to know that if anything should ever happen to me my kids will forever have their personalized pages with my writing and my creativity. I will be alive in my work and their hearts forever and when they have their kids they can show my grandchild just how much I love my family.

I know that everyone I know who does not craft completely understands why I am so passinate about what I make and what I have. I make use of what I have and I have a lot!!! I have a youtube channel showing off my craft room...

For today I used some photos of my brother last year when he was first deployed. He has been a Marine for I think 11 years now and I don't see my brother doing anything else. I wish I could go visit him all the time but I am not financially able to with 4 kids but hopefully soon.

For my project today I used ribbon, distress stains, Pink By Design stamps, gold embossing powder, my pink ATG, and my E2 with craft paper and Echo Park paper that I got from a ScrapThat! kit (the Canada kit club)...

I am working on a couple of different things but I keep getting distracted but I am trying to post more during this hop!!!

Christmas for the Kids Banner Hop - Day 2

This is a birthday card I used with my embossing folder, Pink By Design and my Groovy Times cartridge and the Twinery twine

These were super fun...I used my Imagine and some holiday card scents with some fun trim and my KinderStampO and Scrappy Moms stamps

I made this card also with my Sophie cartridge and some Echo Park Paper with PBD trim and stickles and my new Scrapbookaholic Abby stamps.

For this I used my Imagine, new Scrapbookaholic by Abby stamps and my Holiday cakes cartridge, the paper is the new Teresa Collins I will also be sending this one to the new challenge at Scrapbookaholic

Circle challenge

I hope your having a great day so far!!! I have been busy making some Halloween decorations and being a mom so I have been pretty busy but I wanted to enter the Cricut Circle Challenge with this framed pumpkin graveyard I made...I love it!!!!! It was fun and I have to say I this is my first time creating anything like this and I had so much fun I will be doing it again. I took several pictures from my iPhone because my camera hasn't been working and let's face it I'm in desperate need of photography lessons...lol!!!! Please enjoy...

Hello everyone!!! Hope your day is going well. I am so excited to be a part of this hop and I really hope that you like what I have created...

This hop starts with Sylvia at BellaScrapbookDesigns and if you followed the hop you should be coming to me from Jessica at Chick-n-scrap and I am sure you have been inspired along the way. Breast cancer and challenges!!

I wanted to create a card for awareness and seemed to fit in perfect with Abby's challenge at Scrapbookaholic by Abby and More Than Favors Wacky Wednesday challenge...I also decided to add it to http://www.touchedbyabutterfly.blogspot.com (link up for Pink) hopefully you also get a chance to make something and send it out.

I love how it turned out....

I used my new My creative time "Whimsical calendar days" with matching die and "Anyday Bingo & Crossword" along with "This and That". I also used my K.Andrew Designs stamp set "Amazing You" and twine from the Twinery.

Cricut blog card entry for World Card Making day

I was so excited to finally be done organizing my craft space and to make a card!! I had gotten my circle Sophie cartridge a couple weeks ago but I had started reorganizing my room and didn't have time to finish until today...I of course used Sophie for this card and wanted to use a fall cut since we are now in fall feeling the fall weather :-)

This is the inside...

I used the E2 for the center circle and the Sophie doily on page 70 at 5 and my Scrappy Moms stamps Sweet Somethings

This is the front...

The card is a 6x6 and the doily is cut at 5.75 and the pumpkin is at 5. I also used my KinderStampO Vintage Halloween

Meet the KinderStampO Guest Design Team Blog Hop

I am super excited to be a part of KinderStampO's first Guest Design Team and I can't wait to inspire you with her stamps.

Live. craft. Inspire.

Live. I try to live life to the fullest always appreciating who and what I have in my life. I live in Cicero IL (just outside of Chicago) and I have four kids unless you count the Mr because then I have 5, LOL!!! My oldest daughter Angelina is going to be 12 on 12-23 and I am going to give her a JB birthday party with her friends. Angel is my 2nd born at 10 and he is also my only son. Ahnais is my sweet and sour baby because she is just like her Papi...she has the biggest heart but she is also very stubborn and she has NO patience. Ava is my princess at 13 months old and she is still only 19 pounds and just barely makes 2 feet but she is the happiest baby I have ever known. She wakes up happy goes to sleep happy and stays happy almost all day.

Crafty. I started scrapbooking in 2008 and making cards in 2009 then in 2011 I started to explore the altered projects too. I was recently a part of Scrapbookaholic By Abby's design team with some amazing ladies. I love being crafty and sharing my craft time with friends even if by phone so if your in my area or just feeling lonely while your crafting contact me and we can plan something :)

Inspire. I hope to inspire you with any projects I show and I am currently in the process of setting up for videos to show you how and what I am doing. I am new to this so I am open to any suggestions; thank you!!! Here are a couple of the projects that I have made using my KinderStampO stamps and I have one more that I am almost done with...

This musical card is actually the first project I made with my KinderStampO stamp set and I was so excited with how it turned out.

Scrapbookaholic by Abby Challenge

Hello everyone!!!!! I would like to say that being a part of this Design team has been an HONOR!!!!!!! Abby is such a great leader and the team is so great!!!! I see so much for Abby is her future and I just wanted to say to Abby how thankful I am for having been chosen to join her talented team. I hope to continue on playing along with her challenges going forward. Thank you again ABBY!!!!!!

For this challenge, My final DT challenge, ANYTHING GOES...

I was a the expo this weekend in Saint Charles with some amazing woman ( Jessica, Zoe and Haidee (at Haidee's hubby Jim) and I had so much fun shopping, hanging out, eating, being silly, and of course getting down and CRAFTY!!! Jessica is starting to sell this amazing paper from Tada so I took advantage and I decided to use some of her papers and a plaque that I bought at the expo with my AMAZING TWINE from the TWINERY and my SAKURA GEL pens in white and metallic green. I am thankful to both companies for providing us with their amazing products. Please click on their links to see the lines and colors available because I promise you will LOVE everything you see and get.

This twine is amazing and so vibrant...I will be posting more stuff I made with The Twinery twine and Sakura gel pens, soon so come back for more inspiration

I love how the gel pen shines!!!

This title fit perfectly with my little Ahnais, she is such a clown almost all the time just like her daddy. It's so amazing how much of his personality she really has.

I love my teacher Blog Hop!!

Tacky Tuesday Challenge

The challenge was Cool treats and it had to have the word sweet in it. I used the word in English (cuts are from my Paisley cartridge) and Spanish (Pinkstamper)

I really don't feel like its much of a summer yet because of all this rain but this hop brought the warmth to me and I had a blast making these layouts.

I used paper from my stash and I am sad to say that I was being rushed and I do not remember the paper line. But I know that I used Pack your Bags and my teal expression

Again, I used paper from my last years stash and my Childs Year cartridge.

For my card I used Market Street stamps on the background, my gelly pen for the faux stitching, my PBD sentiments, yellow paint from Michael's and my marine ribbon from my stash. Hope you like it!!

And I made this card for fun using my Martha Stewart punch, my E2, my fathers day cartridge, my Market Street stamps for the background print on the brown and then my PBD stamps for the sentiment.

This is what I made...I actually have been wanting to make this cut off my Hello Kitty Cartridge since I got the cartridge but with nobody graduating it been on hold so this was perfect for me.

I used my Hello Kitty cartridge, DCWV stack and my new and beautiful E2 with my gypsy and my Sakura pens Momento ink and my Pink By Design stamps.

I made this card using paper I bought on clearance at Michael's just before Easter and the stamp is from Kenny Kiernan (I will have to post the website later) and the super mom stamps were Colored using my Copics and accented using my Sakura's and my distress stickler in worn lipstick.

I have been running against time... So sorry!!!
